Fly from U.S. to Cairo.

DAY 2 - Nov 9 - Arrival in Cairo.
Le Meridien Pyramids Hotel
You will be met at the Cairo airport by our A&K representative. Private bus transfer from Cairo airport to Le Meridien Pyramids, which will be our “home” in Cairo. Overnight Cairo.

Le Meridien
After breakfast, we visit the Third Dynasty stepped pyramid of King Djoser, built by the famous architect, high priest/healer,Imhotep. We will also visit the newly opened Imhotep Museum, which houses rare artifacts from the Old Kingdom. Lunch at beautiful oasis, the Saqqara Palm Club. Afternoon visit to traditional carpet school/gallery. Group meeting after dinner. Overnight Le Meridien

DAY 4 - Nov 11 – Giza - Saqqara -
Le Meridien Hotel.
Today 11:11:11 Initiation at the Paws of the Sphinx and the Giza Pyramids. After lunch, we have a group shopping excursion. Overnight Le Meridien Hotel.

DAY 5 - Nov 12 - Giza - Luxor
Early flight to Luxor. Check into our Luxor Hotel.
Group Lunch. Visit to Blue Lotus House Sanctuary for our meditation and class in preparation for our visit to Sekmet at Karnak Temple Overnight Luxor.

DAY 6 - Nov 13
Morning: Valley of the Kings. We begin our day with a visit to the Valley of the Kings, a vast City of the Dead built by generations of Pharaohs, including Ramses II, Hatshepsut, and Tutankamun. 
We will then proceed to Deir El Bahari, one of the most beautiful examples of ancient Egyptian architecture, built by Hatshepsut, the great woman Pharoah and Initiate. Group Lunch. Free Afternoon. Overnight Luxor.

Day 7 - Nov 14 - Luxor         
Today, we visit the Temple of Karnak, built over more than a thousand years by generations of Pharaohs. The great “Hypostyle Hall” is an incredible forest of giant pillars, covering an area larger than the whole of Notre Dame Cathedral. We will also pay a special visit to the “Red Chapel” of Hatshepsut to pay our respects to Sekhmet, the Lion Goddess of Medicine and Magic. Group Lunch.  We will have an evening visit to Luxor Temple, the “Temple Of Man”.   Overnight Luxor.

Day 8 - Nov 15 - Luxor
Today we will have early meditation/class at the Blue Lotus House to prepare for our visit to Hathor’s temple at Dendera. After lunch, we will visit Habu Temple, the “Temple of Dreams”. Dinner on the West Bank overlooking the temples. After dinner we will return to Lotus House for final evening meditation. Overnight Luxor.

Day 9 - Nov 16 - Luxor - Dendera & Abydos
Full Day Visit to the Temples of Abydos & Dendera.  Dendera   dedicated to Hathor, the Goddess of Love and Beauty. Abydos is the temple dedicated to the Mystery School of Isis & Osiris. It is also the site of the enigmatic Osierion, one of the oldest structures in Egypt. Egyptology. Box Lunch provided .Overnight Luxor.

DAY 10 -  Nov -17 Morning Meditation
At Luxor House in preparation for our journey to Aswan and Philae Temple.
Afternoon free. Overnight Luxor.

DAY 11 - Nov 18
Today we drive to Aswan and check into our beautiful hotel overlooking the Nile. Sunset felucca ride (time permitting). Group Dinner. Overnight Aswan.

Day 12 - Nov. 19 Luxor - Aswan
Morning visit to the Temple of Isis at Philae, called the “Jewel of the Nile”. Afternoon free for exploring the local spice markets.  Group Dinner.
Overnight Aswan.

 

Day 13 - Nov. 20 - Aswan-Cairo
Fly from Aswan directly to Cairo. Check into our
Novotel Airport hotel for international flights home*
(Flights home should be booked for 11/21 to insure connections)

DAY 14 – MARCH 23– DEPARTURE FLIGHTS TO U.S. AND OTHER PORTS OF CALL.
