GENERAL INFORMATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
GETTING ALONG ABROAD
Participants in our tours and cruises are encouraged to travel with an open mind, active curiosity and consideration for the customs and beliefs of the citizens of the countries in which we travel. Remember that Peru is a developing country and as such the environment, people, accommodations and meals may be quite different from what you are used to at home. Enjoy these differences in the spirit of adventure.
RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT
- Pachaterra Travel reserves the right to deny acceptance of any Registration.
- The cost of this Journey is based on double occupancy. If Pachaterra Travel is unable
to match a single traveler with a roommate, the single supplement will apply.
- A $500 USD deposit is required along with the completed registration form. The deposit
is non-refundable! Final payment is due 60 days prior to departure.
- NO exceptions unless special arrangements have been made in advance with
PachaTerra or its representatives.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that you obtain travel insurance. Policies are available to cover loss or damage to your luggage, medical needs, certain accidents, and expenses if you must cancel your trip. We do not sell insurance, but can supply you with an application form, if requested.
VALID PASSPORT
A valid passport is required. Passport numbers are required 60 days prior to departure. Any registration after 60 days prior to departure will require a passport number at time of registration. The passport must be valid for 6 month past the journey end date.
EXCLUSIONS
Prices quoted do not include airport or departure taxes, costs of obtaining visas and passports unless stipulated. The price does not include the cost of personal telephone calls, laundry, entertainment arrangements not shown in the itinerary, meals and beverages unless specified, or any other items of a personal nature.
ITINERARY CHANGES
Pachaterra Travel operates this Journey as agents of the aircraft, travel insurance agents, railroads, car rental contractors, steamship lines, hotels, bus operators, sightseeing contractors and others who provide actual arrangements. Pachaterra Travel is not liable for any act, omission, delay, injury, loss or damage or nonperformance in connection with these Journeys.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Cancellation of this Journey by Pachaterra Travel only will result in a refund of all monies paid except for the $500 deposit. There will be no refunds made by PachaTerra for unused airline ticket, or for trip cancellation due to personal reasons. PachaTerra HIGHLY RECOMMENDS purchasing trip Cancellation and airline insurance. |
