Hello Everyone,
To repeat from the last update: Every month we have new and full moons, but eclipses have a “fated” feeling to them. They get us to move out of our comfort zones, so we can evolve and grow to our next stage of development. Three major eclipses 2 solar and a total lunar eclipse) fall within the next 30 days pointing to an incredibly important “galactic window”. On a collective level, we will all discover new meanings to the words “quantum shift” as our human consciousness processes highly accelerated levels of light particles. As if that isn’t enough to ponder, the sun unleashed a massive solar storm on June 7th in a major eruption that stirred up a vast cloud of magnetic plasma and covered over half of the sun’s entire surface. Life forms on this planet, on every level, are experiencing an evolutionary “upgrade”. Even, if at times, it feels like you are being forced to do so, you will soon see yourself in a new “Light”. On June 15, 2011 at 4:14 PM EDT, we will experience a total Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in the sign of Sagittarius. This is one of the longest total lunar eclipses (100 minutes!) of the 21st century. During a Lunar eclipse the earth stands between the moon and the sun. It illuminates and transforms the collective AND the personal shadows. A lunar eclipse is ALWAYS a Full moon and usually marks an ending of something in our lives. Lunar eclipses bring up memories, dreams, and emotions which mark major turning points and/or closure, usually around relationships. There is always a “karmic’ feeling to what is going on. Sometimes it will be like a major puzzle piece falling into place… for better or worse, you are no longer in the dark.
This Full Moon at 24 degrees Sagittarius is very close to the Galactic Center (27 degrees Sagittarius). This is an incredibly potent time for accessing our inner “hall of records” in preparation for the galactic wave being transmitted from the heart of the Milky Way. As the Moon moves through the shadow of the Earth, it activates what has been stored in the unconscious. Deeply hidden karmic memories are stirred, and we can release what has been blocking us from fully experiencing our light consciousness. The sign of Sagittarius represents the “the Quest” for higher truth and the expansion of consciousness. It takes courage to look into the unknown, and as a fire sign, Sagittarius infuses us with enthusiasm and a zest for life, along with the ability to trust our intuition. We all have the ability to tap into higher consciousness, but how many of us have faith that our spiritual experiences are “real”? Where do we look for Truth? How do we know what we believe in? Do we have the courage of our convictions…to “walk our talk”? Must we wait for religious leaders, politicians, or so called “experts” to validate our reality? Are reality TV shows the new “opiate of the masses”? This Full Moon is highlighting the Pathway that leads from ignorance and intolerance to one of enlightened wisdom and individual sovereignty. Aeons of control and domination are over, if we intend it to be so. The New Earth requires New Humans...humans who are responsible, ethical and above all, respect life in all its forms.
Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system, is the ruling planet of Sagittarius, and as such, it expands everything it touches. During this Full Moon meditate on where and how you want to expand your horizons….where is your inner “quest” taking you? Is there something new that you would like to incorporate into your life? Now is the time to move beyond all the OLD psychological and emotional programming that says “No…cannot and should not”. We are moving past the limitations of the old forms that were based on guilt and control. Old institutions, belief systems, ideologies, and dogma will be replaced by systems that affirm life over death….freedom over control…love over fear.
PLANETARY PICTURES WITH THIS ECLIPSE:
Neptune, the planet of multidimensional consciousness and visionary creativity begins its retrograde phase in Pisces on June 2nd. Between June 2nd and November 10, we may get glimpses into the world of Spirit (on a mass level), which could be extremely enlightening or extremely disconcerting depending on your perspective. New photos of hitherto unseen galaxies are being sent back to earth via new “mega” telescopes orbiting in space. According to psychic prophet and healer, Edgar Cayce, the lands of ancient Lemuria and Mu will rise again. The “rising” of these lands can be symbolic of our re-accessing ancient records and indigenous wisdom teachings and the re-writing of the earth’s history as we know it. In addition, the elders of many ancient traditions, Mayan, Hopi, Tibetan, Egyptian, say that we are in the process of completing a 26,000 year cycle which involves a dimensional shift from the limited perception of duality to Oneness. With the asteroid Chiron (called the “wounded Healer”) traveling so closely with Neptune at this time, we have the option of healing karmic issues that span huge cycles of collective humanity. The splitting of the atom and its consequences (for better or worse) carries a huge Atlantean shadow. Are we ready to give up the “ghost” of old master/slave, abuser/victim, conqueror/conquered karma? It will be interesting to see how humanity deals with these issues, as well as those involving the true “history” of this planet as the story unfolds.
POLITICALLY SPEAKING:
This total Lunar Eclipse will be visible over Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia. Sagittarius is the sign of “freedom”. The areas where an eclipse “shadow” falls usually become “hotspots” over the next 6 months. During this eclipse Mars is inspecting the astrological charts of Libya, Egypt and Tunisia. It is possible that the demise of Libya’s dictator, Mohamar Ghadalfi, is imminent; as also the fate of Egyptian ex-President, Hosni Mubarak and his two sons. Mars also closely affects the chart of Turkey, so we may see more unrest there. This eclipse degree falls exactly on the sun in the chart of Tunisia, and Tunisia is the country that “sparked” the events leading to the” Egyptian Spring” of revolutions all over the Middle East. There may be political upheaval in Tunisia before events there see closure. Lunar eclipses usually bring something out into the open or reveal a hidden potential. In the past, eclipses that fall in the Sagittarius/Gemini axis have precipitated events dealing with major air disasters and strikes, global communications and media, religious news, and scientific announcements (including UFOs).
PERSONALLY SPEAKING:
Lunar eclipses generally deal with emotions; solar eclipses are more outer event oriented. It is not unusual to feel emotionally and physically unbalanced during a lunar eclipse. It is especially important to do “inner work” during this time, meditate and spend some quiet time with ourselves, rather than scattering our energy and emotionally over-reacting to others. This is a good time to set the intention to let go of any outworn habits or behaviors that are not in alignment with your highest potential. Eclipses are “wild cards” which tend to bring about unexpected events. Try not to make any major decisions on or around the day of the eclipse (3 days before and 3 days after), as you are probably not thinking clearly. It is especially prudent to NOT issue any serious ultimatums in a relationship unless you are prepared to have it end. Lunar eclipses have an air of finality to them. When it is done; it is “done”. Watch who comes into your life during an eclipse. They will probably have a big effect on your life over the next 6 months. On the other hand, a lunar eclipse may remove a person or element in your life that you thought you really needed, but the relationship has actually completed its function.
On June 14, 1992, there was a lunar eclipse at 24 degrees Sagittarius-Gemini, the same degree as this eclipse. What changes were going on in your life then? What is calling you now?
FULL MOON MEDITATION:
Full Moons are always the time for inner reflection, and eclipses are especially powerful Full Moons. Take some time out from your busy day (or evening) and enjoy a Full Moon bath. Light a white candle, and allow all that is “heavy” or toxic to leave your body. If you have a favorite essential oil, use it. If you have a moonstone or special crystal hold it to your Third Eye and give thanks for all the blessings and grace you have in your life. Send your love to Mother Earth and make “peace” with all your relations. Feel the waves of energy emanating from Galactic Center and the Full Moon filling you from the top of your head down to the soles of your feet and back again. Feel your Third Eye and pineal gland expand and open with the light. See yourself as a cascading fountain of light vibrating to the songs of the Universe and know that you are connecting to multidimensional aspects of yourself and bringing them all Home.
