DAY 03 - THURS - MARCH 18 – 2010
Breakfast: Buffet breakfast at hotel.
Meet with Mary, Hillary, and Hazem for morning overview of the Pyramids area and your first glimpse of the Giza plateau and Sphinx. We will also have time for shopping at one of the Egypt’s most famous bazaars for fine jewelry and handicrafts of all kinds. After dinner, group meeting with Mary.

DAY 04 - FRI - MARCH 19 – 2010

A&K Cruise Begins on Sunboat IV
After breakfast at your hotel, your A&K Tour Coordinator will escort you to Cairo Domestic Airport by air-conditioned vehicle.
Flight: Board your Egypt-Air flight to Aswan, where your A&K Tour Coordinator will meet you And Transfer to Abercrombie & Kent Sunboat IV for check-in. |

Flight: Board your Egypt-Air flight MS 147 to Abu Simbel.
Abu Simbel: Enjoy half-day tour to the Temple at Abu Simbel. Built by the Great Ramses II, Egypt’s longest ruling pharaoh, it is one of the most recognizable images in the country. Actually two temples, namely the Great Temple of Ra-Harakhte, fronted by the four colossal statues of Ramses II and the Temple of Hathor, dedicated to Ramses’ favorite wife Queen Nefertari, they were moved to their current location when the creation of Lake Nasser threatened their existence.
Return back to Abu Simbel Airport for flight to Aswan, where you will join the rest of the group for excursion to the beautiful island Temple of Isis at Philae.
Philae Temple: Take a short motorboat ride to visit the romantic and majestic Philae Temple on the Island of Agilka. Philae Temple is dedicated to the Goddess Isis, the Mistress of Magic, mother to Horus, the sun god. Philae was one of the last remaining temples of the Egyptian empire, and the early Christians “adopted” Isis and her divine son, Horus, and the symbols for Mary and the baby, Jeshua. At Philae, we will experience our initiation into the Great Goddess Mysteries of Isis in her inner sanctum and reconnect to the Divine Feminine in the birthing chambers of Isis and Hathor. Philae Temple is one of the most gorgeous sites on the Nile, as well as its most serene and peaceful. We will have ample time for meditation amidst the bounty of spring flowers and the energy of the Great Mother Goddess.
High Dam: If time permits, your Egyptologist will escort you to visit the Aswan High Dam.

DAY 5 - SAT - MARCH 20 – 2010 - A&K CRUISE - DAY
Visit to Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples Kom Ombo Temple: Morning visit to the Temple of Kom Ombo, the temple of “duality”, dedicated to the crocodile-god Sobek and Horus, the Sun god. Here we work on balancing the “shadow” and re-dedicating ourselves to the Light before our Initiation with Isis later in the day.

DAY 6 - SUN - MARCH 21 – 2010 - SPRING EQUINOX IN LUXOR
After Breakfast, we will have a morning tour of the West Bank Temples and Valley of the Kings.
Valley of the Kings: Begin your day with a visit to the West Bank of Luxor to explore the Valley of the Kings, where magnificent tombs were carved into the desert rocks, decorated richly, and filled with treasures for the |

the afterlife by generations of Pharaohs.
Hatshepsut Temple: Rising out of the desert plain in a series of terraces, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (Ancient Egypt’s only female Pharaoh) merges with the sheer limestone cliffs that surround it, as if nature herself had built this extraordinary monument. This temple was created by Hatshepsut and her architect, Senemut, as a “Garden of Eden” and dedicated to the fertility and re-spiritualization of the land carrying on the lineage of the great Master, Imhotep, and the Brotherhood of Light. We will have time to experience the beauty and healing energy of the Hathor Chapel, dedicated to the Goddess of Love, Beauty and Music.
Photo stop Colossi of Memnon: On the way back to the river Nile, your road passes by the famed Colossi of Memnon, known in Ancient Greek times for their haunting voices at dawn.

Karnak Temple: This afternoon your Egyptologist will guide you on a tour of the East Bank of Luxor to visit the Temple of Karnak, built over more than a thousand years by generations of Pharaohs. The great “Hypostyle Hall” is an incredible forest of giant pillars, covering an area larger than the whole of Notre Dame Cathedral. We will experience the powerful group “Initiation of Sekmet”, the Lion-headed Goddess of healing and transformation in the Chapel of Ptah. Sekmet’s name means “powerful one”, and she opens our hearts and kundalini energy to universal compassion and healing, and our bodies to cellular evolution. This afternoon we will also have ample time to explore Karnak Temple on our to connect with the “neters” in our personal individual process.
Luxor Temple: Proceed to the Temple of Luxor, once connected to Karnak via the Avenue of Sphinxes, almost 3 kilometers in length. Built by Amenhotep III in 1380 BC, the site was added to by later pharaohs. The temple enjoyed many celebrations, the most important being the Festival of Opet which lasted almost a month.

DAY 7 - MON - MARCH 22– 2010
Breakfast: Breakfast on board. A&K will transfer our luggage to Moudira Hotel on the West Bank. Rest of the day free for relaxation at the pool, massage, and enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the Moudira Hotel. Group meeting with Mary early evening, sunset by the pool. DAY 8 - TUES - MARCH 23 – 2010
After breakfast at hotel, we will make our pilgrimage to Abydos and Dendera Temples, the temples dedicated to Osiris and Hathor, respectively. Boxed lunch will be provided. Dinner on your own at hotel.

DAY 09 - WED- MARCH 24 - 2010
After breakfast, we will have a free day to enjoy the ambience of the Moudira Hotel. For those who would like an additional option* to visit the West Bank sites, we will have lunch at Habu Restaurant and afternoon visits to Habu Temple and Deir El Bahari. Return to Moudira Hotel for dinner and group meeting with Mary.

Breakfast: We will check out of hotel and transfer to Luxor Airport for our flight to Cairo, where A&K tour Coordinator will meet you.

Sakkara: Visit Sakkara, one of the oldest sites in Egypt, where you will see the world-famous Step Pyramid of King Zoser, built by the renowned architect, physician, High Priest and Magician, Imhotep. Saqqara is said to be the site of one of the original sound healing temples from Atlantis. We will also visit the newly opened Imhotep Museum, which houses |

some of the rarest artifacts from the time of Zoser (Third Dynasty). Lunch: Buffet lunch at “Sakkara Palm Club”.
Carpet school after lunch visit to the most famous carpet school where you can view & purchase High quality rugs & carpets.
